MOMS CLUB
Our Moms club helps new and expentant moms with a Safe Sleep program, an annual Community Baby Shower and a Monthly Moms Meetup.
Our monthly moms meetup includes the following:
- Monthly Planning Sessions
- Host Safe Champion Classes
- Promote Self Care and Self Advocacy
- Encourage Peer-to-Peer Mom Support
- Provide monthly supply assistance
What is provided monthly to moms?
- Wipes
- Clothes
- Household Goods
- Resources
- Food boxes
**Lunch/ dinner will be provided as well as childcare support at each monthly session.
Food insecurity early in the COVID-19 pandemic spurred the ARJ Community to take action with a program of Grocery Giveaways. Food insecurity has not gone away, so these giveaways have continued as monthly event. Check our events calendar to see the date of the next giveaway!

Each year, we send the children in our community back to school with everything they need to succeed!
The kids in our community leave this event with:
-Backpacks
-School Supplies
-Uniforms/School Clothes
-Snacks
-Cleaning Supplies
-And so much more!
BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH
It can be extremely expensive to clothe your children, especially if you have multiple kids. A couple times per year, we host events where you can purchase a big shopping bag for only $5 and fill it with as many clothes as you can fit. Clothe a family of 4 for a whole season for $5-$10! BIG BAG EVENTS
November is a special month for our Grocery Giveaways! In 2022 we fed 270 families for Thanksgiving. We couldn’t have done it without the help of our sponsors and partners at St. Louis Area Foodbank. We also were honored to have the help of 40 students who donated their time. What a great day! Check our events calendar to see the date of this year’s Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway.
Thanksgiving meal campaign
Each December, The ARJ Community Outreach is wrapped in Christmas madness and we put a smile on many families faces!! We are so excited, we beat our record and serviced 230 families & 680 children. Each child walked away with coats, clothes, blankets and toys. Plus, we serviced 5 other agencies as well.
