Zip Code Distribution at 2021 Grocery Giveaways
ARJ Community Outreach serves all comers.
At our grocery giveaways in 2021, families reported coming from 32 different zip codes, with the largest portion of families sharing our neighborhood in 63118. This zip code is among the top 5 in Saint Louis for infant mortality, and 32% of residents live below poverty line. Each grocery giveaway serves dozens of households, with any given household being as large as 15 individuals.
Our Moms Club presently serves just over 30 new or expectant mothers with an emphasis on Safe Sleep and support. Similarly, these moms reside in more than a dozen zip codes across the Saint Louis area and Illinois.
