The Legacy of Arthur Roy Johnson
The purpose of the ARJ Community is to honor Arthur Roy Johnson and to keep his legacy alive, which was to bring stability to the community in which he lived, worked, and ministered. Arthur Roy Johnson’s focus was on the youth, which held a special place in his heart. He recognized the good in the youth and strived to bring it out. He felt very strongly about fathers being a part of their children's lives and he knew the vital role that they would play. With that, he dedicated his free time teaching young boys painting, carpentry, and landscaping. He strongly felt that men should be leaders in their home and a strength to their communities.
